Assistant Accountant

We are looking for somebody to work alongside the CFO, the CEO and business heads in the UK and our global businesses. The role would equally suit a new graduate who wants to train as ACCA, which we could support, or a part-qualified accountant, possibly returning to work after a career break. Reporting directly to the CFO, the applicant will work from our Brighton office with limited international travel. The role includes:

    • Project accounting including billing, recurring payments and contract analysis
    • Contracts management
    • Contributing to budget process

Client Support Analyst

Salary: Competitive dependent on experience plus benefits

Full Time

Working with our client publishers using the Biblio suite across the world, you will be the first point of contact for answering and investigating their queries about the system. You will be responsible for working alongside our team of developers, and publishing specialists, to progress these queries from initial investigation to resolution whilst building and maintaining a relationship with the publisher. The day to day tasks will vary in this role, and as you continue to build on your software knowledge and understanding of the publishing process, key responsibilities can include:

    • Investigating client queries using our internal systems, and liaising with colleagues and developers to find a resolution.
    • Testing, and therefore learning about, new functionality and developments released to our customers in regular updates every six to eight weeks.
    • Recording webcasts to demonstrate new features, and maintaining our online help documents plus other marketing/training resources.
    • Training publishers either face to face or remotely, on how to use new features, or areas of the system they may not be familiar with.
    • Supporting other colleagues with new project implementations, becoming the main point of contact for a client, and opportunities to help out with internal IT support queries.

    Person Specification: 
    The role will suit someone with:

    • A real enthusiasm for problem solving, and character to persevere to get to the root of an issue.
    • A logical mindset, and ability to learn new software quickly with a combination of “learning on the job” and being provided with available training resources.
