Virtusales Publishing Solutions is delighted to welcome Mad Cave Studios to the BiblioSuite community; further enriching Virtusales’ growing portfolio of comic book publishers.
With a wide array of products on offer - from exclusive, single issues and trade paperbacks, to digital subscriptions, bundles and merchandise, Mad Cave Studios came to Virtusales in need of a system that would streamline its processes and manage all its products within a single system.
The Challenge
In recent years, Mad Cave Studios has grown substantially, and with this growth came the need to improve its business systems in order to lift the restrictions caused by inefficient software and processes, such as siloed spreadsheets and offline systems, to better manage the full publishing lifecycle of its products, from acquisition and contracts to production and beyond. The more a publisher scales its operations, the deeper the impact of inefficient processes and systems, and Mad Cave Studios found that dual data entry between its disparate systems was impacting the publisher’s productivity and limiting the visibility of data between departments, which in turn limited its aspirations for further growth in the future.
Mad Cave Studios needed a secure and fully-integrated system that would support its growth and automate its workflows to ultimately increase both its efficiency and capacity across the board, as Mark London, Mad Cave Studios’ CEO and Chief Creative Officer explains:
“We reviewed a number of systems before identifying BiblioSuite, but when we saw the integrated nature of Biblio’s publishing workflows, we recognized the power that Biblio has to scale up our outputs. We were very impressed with Virtusales and their professionalism during the discovery process, which gave us confidence to work with them as a partner. We were very happy with the process and are looking forward to fully utilizing the functionality now available to us.”

As Mark London notes:
